Im trying to replace the door hatch and someone wrote the colors down wrong for the Yellow/Red Black and Green/Brown wires. I don't know what is which? Does anyone know which is ground? Live? or C?Does anyone have a Hotpoint WD51 1100 Washer Dryer?
I'm not sure what you are talking about when you say ';door hatch'; are you talking about the door interlock ? in which case you should only have 3 wires and they are mounted in a block !!! Don't take a chance on it, as if you get it wrong you will do more expensive damage, best thing to do is get in touch with Hotpoint technical dept, but make sure you know what components you are talking about, as they will be just as confused as i amDoes anyone have a Hotpoint WD51 1100 Washer Dryer?
at a guess yel and red will b live....black is negative and green n brown will b ground...don't quote me on that tho !!
Call the repairman at repair clinic he might be able to help you out its free.They also have diagrams of washers,dryers,etc.And troubleshooting pages.
Apparently nobody knows
