I have the Whirlpool cabrio washer also.......top loader.
You have to use the HE (high efficiency) laundry soaps. They sell them everywhere.
Prices are the same as regular laundry soap............Just use a CAP FULL.
They say that if you use the regular laundry soap, that it is bad for the washer. Something about the synthetic in the soap can clog your washer
