Water went under my washer/dryer. They still work, but can they have problems later because of this?

you should not have a problem...

I have a hard drive that i salvaged from a cable box DVR, that i left in a box outside all last winter, it got rained on, the box was filled with water, frozen, and defrosted.... after drying out... the hard drive still works... similar thing happened to a TV of mine... my iguana pissed in it... it would not turn on for a while... i put it in the closet... a few months later when i was cleaning my closet out, i tried the TV and it worked for several years afterwards... i gave it away.. but think its still working to this day...

so, even if your electronic components of the dryer were in contact with water, and they dried off, they should work fine....Water went under my washer/dryer. They still work, but can they have problems later because of this?
Only maybe rust later onWater went under my washer/dryer. They still work, but can they have problems later because of this?
Just adds to the rust unless you live in a dry climate. Nothing to worry about unless the washer and dryer were in deep water as during Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans and surrounding areas. Black water (water that is really filthy) inside the areas where you clean the clothes is the only concern. But I doubt that is what you are asking about.
