I do not remember if it was gas or electric but someone wants to buy it and needs to know. It is now in storage and not easily gotten to just to find that out. Did Maytag make both? Also......it had a problem spinning in the wash cycle. The clothes would end up completely soaked and sitting in water....what could that be?I bought a Maytag Neptune upright, front loading washer/dryer in year 2000?
Most manufactures make both gas and electric as for the water, I recently had the same problem, I had a lint trap in the washer that blocked up with coins and baby socks and of course lint. Once removed it worked like a champ again.
