Problem filling Kenmore washer 110 (Topload); cold water fill tub very slowly, hot water fill at normal rate?

undo the hose, there should be a screen, clean it out......If that's not the problem then it's your valve or pipes need to be replaced.......Problem filling Kenmore washer 110 (Topload); cold water fill tub very slowly, hot water fill at normal rate?
I see this problem a lot. There or two possibilities or a combination of both. Normally people use 3 to 4 times as much cold water as hot so this happens to the cold side faster. Your cold water inlet valve has a screen which clogs up with calcium (white goo) and sometimes just removing this is all it takes. The other thing is if this didnt work you need a new water valve due to calcium buildup inside of the valve.Problem filling Kenmore washer 110 (Topload); cold water fill tub very slowly, hot water fill at normal rate?
well normally your hot water pipes plug up first so i would check to see if you have a kink in the hose or even undo the hose from the washer and turn it on see if it is the water from the house or if the slowness is caused by the washer
clean the hose inlet screens on the back of the washer
Turn off the cold water and unscrew the fitting from the hose to the washer end. Inside you will see a washer and small screen. See if the screen is clogged. You can put the hose in the sink and turn the water back on to see if there is pressure. If there is then it's in the cold water side of the solenoid valve. Could be sediment.
